Once you are hired, you have to promote, market and introduce your services to the clients. It is essential to build your client base. Being a realtor, you have to be trustworthy, honest and professional to your clients all the time.

Pick the right location of your choice. When you work in the real estate industry, it can be sometimes profitable and sometimes not. Thus, your sales depend on your styles and techniques for selling and spreading the words to the prospects. The location is also a key factor to gain more sales. Thus, choose the most popular cities in the region.

Your income always depends on the commission that you get from the sales you made. Sometimes, it would take some time before you will be able to create a solid client base. Just make sure that you have enough dollars to support yourself during the first year of your career.

You may also consider becoming a member of the National Association of Realtors. Once you become a member, this would provide you lots of benefits and advantages. You will have a full access of the tool, such as property listings, discounts to some educational opportunities, travel discounts and even financial protection for your services.
