You may realize that some areas, especially the basement may have little or no reception.

Ensure the kitchen and washroom taps are working. Remember, to check there are no leaks in the pipes under sinks. Similarly, make certain the water flow in the sink be adequate. If the sink is a metal, it should not show any sign of rust. The overflow drain should not leak. Flush all the toilets to ensure they are functioning. Look for rusts in the appliances. The cooling and heating appliances are critical and must be in good working condition. Most appliances should not be too old.
