And... It shows no signs of its growth stopping. The Atlanta, Georgia area has seen an increase of population growth since the seventies. 2000-2008 alone it added about 1.1 million residents to its ranks.

According to the FBI, from 2001 to 2009 the crime rate in the ATL declined by nearly forty percent. That IS something amazing, is it not?

Education isn't only limited to just institutions of higher learning, but also includes many elementary schools, and secondary schools as well. As of 2007 the system of public schools has an active enrollment of approximately 50k students.
